For those who don’t know, there is a rapper named 2Chainz. And I kind of fancy his music. Like a LOT. When I was putting this outfit together, I kept thinking “3 prints”, “3 prints”, then I got cracked up because I felt like I should just add a “z” and I could call myself 3Printz.
Corny, I know. Welcome to my world. I love to laugh – even if it’s dumb. 🙂
So 3Printz was born. And that it is – 3 prints. Stripes, florals, AND snakeskin. I don’t mind if I do!
In my mind, it was a risk but one I was willing to take & quite enjoyed actually. Mixing prints actually takes some planning, and can’t be overdone. I wanted to bring the red out in the shoes without overpowering them, so I chose the only red bag I own right now.
The shoes are spring-y, so I added socks to make them appear warmer and more fall-ish.
I’ve had this snakeskin bag for a few years and have never blogged it for an outfit, so decided it would go too.
The jacket is a Chico’s jacket I had altered by my tailor. I also had her add 2 front closures because I HATE open jackets, and it didn’t come with any front closures.
Because of my body type, I’m a fan of what Tyra Banks so eloquently calls the “cinch ‘n snatch”, so closures on jackets are necessary to cinch my waistline. YES PLEASE!
