So I’m well aware that this is one of those dresses that you either hate or love. Some people may think it looks like their grandmother’s curtains – others will love it. You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but I LOVED this dress when I saw it – I had to have it. (And my grandmothers curtains don’t look like this….lol).
I decided to style it with different shoes because I just thought that was fun. Also, I realized when I started trying to figure out what shoes to wear with it how many matched it in my closet! This dress has so many colors, so there’s potential for a lot of versatility in styling it. While I love the white ones the most, they all technically “work” by my style standards.
Style Tip: When you get a dress or an outfit, look for these versatile options – what kind of belts can you mix and match? What colors of blazers? What all different kinds of accessories “work”? What shoes look good?
I’m sure you noticed my hair being curly – yes, it’s 100% natural and no, I don’t have a perm. I’ll share some products I use to “dress” them below – one of the things I love about my hair is I can wear it about a hundred different ways. But I usually pick the same 3 or 4!
Just in time for Easter, I wanted to share what I will be wearing to wine & dine and prance my Mom and sister in love around in Dallas. Enjoy your week and weekend.
All my love & support to you,
PS – if I ever don’t share something you want to know from the outfit, you can always ask me in the comments.
