Robert Greene said, “Creativity is a combination of discipline and a childlike spirit.”
And that’s exactly how creating a faux floral arrangement is too.
It’s a combo of playing with colors, textures and stems, while being somewhat methodical about how it comes together. (Only somewhat). To be honest, there’s really no “art” TO it – it’s a matter of placement. However, choosing your stems IS half the battle – if you can figure out what you want and go find it, you’ve already gotten ahead.
I’ve been asked by a few folks to do a how-to on creating a Fall floral arrangement, so I delivered. (I have another video here creating several).
I’m creating the first one for my place for Fall, 2017 here with you today.
You’re going to get the 4 easy steps to creating a faux floral arrangement:
- Choosing a Vase
- Choosing Your Florals
- Getting Potpourri for Filler
You’ll also get several “T’s Tips” throughout the video, sharing some of my best kept secrets on how to think through things and why I make certain decisions.
I’m also sharing why I use potpourri as filler and the 2 benefits of doing so!
