Get On The Kimono Train: How to Wear Them

KIMONO: by SheIn ($17) | WHITE TANK TOP: Vintage (Similar from Target $10)  | DENIM SHORTS: Forever21 ($18) | SHOES: Lolashoetique (Similar from Aerosole's $67) | WATCH: Charming Charlie (Similar here & here)

One of the coolest, most comfortable things you can wear in the summer aside from the smallest amount of clothes possible is a free-flowing kimono that breathes and looks classy.

I'm modeling a great way you can wear a kimono top today in this post: with shorts and a tank top. It's very comfortable, and the one I'm wearing by SheIn is only a whopping $17!

This kimono is called a "batwing" kimono because it looks like bat wings. It's going to barely drap over your shoulders and be snug under your arm and around your back and hang down. If you like the style, just google "batwing kimono" and you'll find millions more of them online. I've connected you to a few others similar to this one below as well.

Kimonos can be worn around the house, for brunch out with the girls, or on a date with heels like I'm wearing - I actually had a date after this shoot and wore this. :-) You can also wear them with a nice pair of slacks or jeans for work - there's many different combinations that will work.

Enjoy shopping the post today, and thank you for loving my style!
