The Turquoise, Teal, Aqua Dilemma
I'm really excited for spring! One of the reasons is the mixing & matching opportunities that exist in our closets. I've had this teal, turquoise, aqua dress in my closet for a while now, and couldn't figure out what the heck to do with it, honestly. But alas, the outfit came together with this new-to-my-closet denim blazer and heels from Lolashoetique (I think they're already sold out, but I bet they bring them back soon!)
As such, I've given you the name of the heel below & connected you to similar ones, but you should follow them on Instagram to keep tabs on when these shoes are back in stock.
I couldn't figure out what color this dress really is. I even did research on the difference between turquoise and aqua, turquoise and teal, and I ended up resorting to the fact that it depends on who you ask and the lighting. LOL!
Personally, I would call this teal blue or teal green. I don't know - I really can't decide. What do you think?
I just used my wallet as a last-minute accessory with this outfit. A bag would've taken away from the shoes & jewelry, but it's a little awkward without something to hold - it turned out to be perfect.
Style tip #1: You can buy sleeveless dresses & tanks all day - just make sure you have some blazers & light jackets to layer over them for a day or evening out.
Style tip #2: Roll the sleeves of long-sleeve blazers in the spring if it's a bit too "dressed up" or hot, even. It might come in handy on a cold airplane or movie theater, but until you get in that situation, you can roll the sleeves to make the outfit cooler.
Love you guys for keepin' up with my outfit shenanigans!
