Flowers With a Pencil
Pencil SKIRT, that is!
Alas, I'm finally revealing one of my all-time favorite pieces to wear year-round; the pencil skirt. And especially the neoprene pencil skirts like this Thalia Sodi one from Macy's. This is a fitted pencil skirt, made with super soft fabric that will hug you in all the right places in a very classy way.
I paired it with a lightweight floral top by Worthington to bring out the coral color well.
I brought out the depth and my favorite color (navy blue) from the shirt by wearing navy blue suede booties you would normally see in fall - hence the belief there are NO RULES. I will wear booties year-round with not a care in the world. As you can see with this look, it works well to bring the depth out of the top!
I'm connecting you to my favorite floral tops today, pencil skirts, and some navy booty options. My clutch is a deep purple snakeskin clutch, also meant to derive some of the depth from the floral summer blouse. I love the contrasts of this outfit! Enjoy shopping the look.
