NAVY BODYSUIT: by Eva Mendes for New York & Company (ON SALE!! $14.98) | FLORAL WIDE-LEG PANTS: New York & Company 7th Ave. (ON SALE!! $49, Regular $70)| NAVY BOOTIE SANDALS: ShoeDazzle In Ayla (No longer available; options below) | STRIPED BELT: Came on a different pair of pants from NY & Co.; Vintage

There's nothing I love more than to pair an outfit that you typically wouldn't see going together, and this one is it.

Style Tip 1: Pair a different dark color than is in your bottoms and accent/soften the brights.

For example, it looks like there is mostly black in the flowers in these pants, but I'm softening the colors by opting for navy instead. The navy blue brings out the pink and yellow more, whereas black would make them look more harsh and ONLY bring out the black.

Style Tip 2: Mix prints using your belt.

This belt actually came on a previous pair of pants I got from New York & Company. I got the idea to wear it with these pants to see how it looked, and I ended up loving it! You'll notice floral on the belt, too. This just makes it a triple threat belt. You can wear printed belts with solids, stripes, or floral in this situation. It's the perfect SMALL way to mix prints without being overwhelming.

One of my new favorite things is definitely bodysuits, so I just love this combo. :-)

Enjoy shopping the look below.
