Honeycomb or Snakeskin?
To be honest, I can’t really figure out if this top looks like a bee’s honeycomb or snakeskin. When I first saw it, I thought of a honeycomb. Either way, it’s very Fallish and perfect for a 70-degree Fall day, which we get a lot of here in Texas.
Let’s talk about this outfit. I have paired a simple sleeveless top by Evan Picone with a real high-quality black denim jean from Good American. There ain’t nothin’ like a good ripped jean, and these definitely deliver. They are hands-down the most comfortable jeans in my closet.
To break up the outfit a bit, I brought in a clear, simple yet not so simple shoe with gold tones. Unfortunately, with the editing, you can’t see the shoe detail well, so here is a better shot:
These shoes really tie in the gold tones well, yet isn’t such a bulky black shoe like I could have done. I chose to keep it light to balance out the outfit and focus on the jeans. :-)
I wasn’t planning on shooting this outfit with a bag, but my new Ted Baker camera bag actually went fantastically with this outfit! I removed the removable arm strap to make it into a clutch - this bag does double duty in that way - and voila! Outfit accessorized.
This is a nice outfit to rock on a 70-degree Fall day in Dallas, which we have many of. Enjoy shopping selections for each piece I’ve curated for you below!
